Parish Registration | Registro Parroquial

We welcome you if you are a new member to the parish and invite you to register at the Rectory. We encourage you to share in a parish ministry program. You may register at St. Andrew Avellino in a variety of ways including picking up the forms in the rectoryor filling the form out at the bottom of the page and either mailing to the rectory, dropping it in the collection basket or hand delivering to the rectory.

Become a Registered Parishioner

One of the most important things that the people of a parish should do is register. Registering for the parish not only makes you more apart of the family of St. Andrew Avellino and the Church it gives a chance for you and your family to be counted and heard in the parish.

Some important reasons to register are the following:

  • Sponsor Certificates - when you are asked to be a sponsor for either Baptism or Confirmation you need a letter signed from your pastor stating that you are a practicing Catholic. If you are not registered in the parish it is not possible for the pastor to sign these forms.
  • Marriage- For marriage preparation and marriage a letter may be needed from your pastor to allow you to get married in another parish or church.
  • Funerals- when burying a loved one in a catholic cemetery without a funeral mass it is necessary to get priest lines. Unfortunately the pastor needs to know if a parishioner was a registered member before he can officially sign the documents.
  • Mailings - You will receive all parish mailings with regards to special events and announcements. Contributions - registered parishioners receive weekly envelopes to assist with the day to day operations of the parish.

Le damos la bienvenida si usted es un nuevo miembro de la parroquia y le invitamos a registrarse en la Rectoría. Le animamos a participar en un programa del ministerio parroquial. Puede inscribirse en San Andrés Avellino de varias maneras: recogiendo los formularios en la rectoría o rellenando el formulario al final de la página y enviándolo por correo a la rectoría, dejándolo en la cesta de la colecta o entregándolo en mano en la rectoría.

Una de las cosas más importantes que la gente de una parroquia debe hacer es registrarse. Registrarte en la parroquia no sólo te hace más parte de la familia de San Andrés Avellino y de la Iglesia, sino que te da la oportunidad a ti y a tu familia de ser contados y escuchados en la parroquia.

Algunas razones importantes para registrarse son las siguientes

  • Certificados de padrino - cuando se le pide ser padrino ya sea para Bautismo o Confirmación necesita una carta firmada por su párroco declarando que usted es católico practicante. Si no estás registrado en la parroquia no es posible que el párroco firme estos formularios.
  • Matrimonio- Para la preparación matrimonial y el matrimonio puede ser necesaria una carta de su párroco que le permita casarse en otra parroquia o iglesia.
  • Funerales- cuando se entierra a un ser querido en un cementerio catolico sin una misa de funeral es necesario obtener las lineas del sacerdote. Desafortunadamente el párroco necesita saber si un feligrés era miembro registrado antes de poder firmar oficialmente los documentos.
  • Correos - Usted recibira todos los correos de la parroquia con respecto a eventos especiales y anuncios. Contribuciones - Los parroquianos registrados reciben sobres semanales para ayudar con las operaciones diarias de la parroquia.
